I ended switching to OpenCore and with few hours of work upgraded to Big Sur.
It was much more work following the OpenCore Install Guide than I had in the past.
I was used to Unibeast and Multibeast.
Is it possible to upgrade now to Monterey and use it without issues?

If I run a Big Sur installation from a USB flash drive, it should preserve the current installation, right?

I have Catalina 10.5.6 and I upgraded Clover and kexts to latest version.
I wanted it to be up-to-date before upgrading to Big Sur.
