USB C is a protocol, not just a connector. You can use the same conector in USB C standard or TH3, for sure. BUT, I'm clearly talking about a USB C to TH2 Adapter made by Apple, so, indeed, there's such a thing... Best.

HI! I've managed to make Mojave work flawlessly on an Aorus B635M Pro Mobo. My USB Type C works prefectly but I cant get Thunderbolt stuff to work through the Apple Type C>TH2 Adapter. Any clue? Would it work?

On el Cap or Sierra you'll have to have PT12 anyway... same business.

I think that with that motherboard you'll have more luck with Sierra.... And regarding protools, it works better under Sierra than under El Cap. Cheers!
