i have built two hacks over the last three years and both are running fine, however I need the most power possible for 3D animation and rendering. I don’t know much about the specs, other than to max out ram, so with that being said, what should I look for to ensure the fastest render time...

And round and round we go. Again, no sound after sleep/wake cycle. I tried to reinstall the ALC1150 from the El Capitan from Multicast, but with no luck. I've scoured the forums for a solution, which contains my motherboard, but cannot find a solution. Config file is attached.

After just using ALC1150 with no optional 3 port, I have no sound after wake.

That worked for me. I booted from the hard drive, reinstalled the El Capitan MultiBeast "Realtek ALC1150 and the Optional 3 Port (5.1) Audio" and then rebooted again. I now have sound.
