Best Graphics for 4k editing

One of our computers with the below configuration is having issues with autodesk flame software. It appears that the High-Sierra is conflicting with the software. On one of our other hacks, we're running Mojave with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 740 4095 MB graphics card and it works fine. Would it be better to get a supported graphics card and install it on the system? If so, which would be a good choice? Or, would you recommend another solution?

The current build is:
GA-Z170X-UD3
CPU i&-6700x
GTX-1080Ti

The RX 570/580/590 would work. RX Vega 56/64 as well. Depends on how much you want to spend. The new Navi cards RX 5700 (XT) are just starting to get support in Catalina so you may want to wait a while before trying those. For Autodesk I would use Mojave instead of Catalina right now.
