Its not that hard, really. Once you get it up and running, only thing you have to do is not upgrading your system for 1-2 days until it is confirmed on this site. Usually you just have to update with the combo update (not AppStore) and install one or two drivers again afterwards. Hackintosh´s...

I´m sorry to hear that its not working for you. It seems that there is no universal solution to get your GPU running. I suggest you play around with all the drivers a little more. aolivero posted a summary of all the drivers here and i finally got the new nvidia drivers running with my GTX...

@aolivero: Thank you so much for all the files! This is the first time i got the nvidia 10.8.2 drivers to run with my GTX 570 without grey screen login boot loop. My Unigine score increased from 1550 to 1638. Thank you!!!

Unfortunately i was too stupid to backup my OpenGL.framework,OpenCL.framework and GPUSupport.framework and now i need to restore my original files. Could anybody upload the the original 10.8.2 files for me please?

Best solution for me was using the stock 10.8.2 drivers. But if you already installed nvidia drivers and want to fix the boot loop, this is what worked for me: Try this but dont use the attached files, instead use the files from this post

How long did you wait? The installer also installs all current updates, so you cannot get around downloading i think. Maybe cut your internet connection?

Thermal Paste is on the CPU but if you are planning to switch the standart cooler to something better (and you should) than you should also buy new thermal paste. You don´t want to end up with a overheating cpu.
