Dear all, I'm using a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD7 TH mainboard with BIOS version F4, Intel Core i7, on-board graphic. I used Intel ALC898 with previous OS X versions and updated now to Mojave (10.14). No audio is not detected by OS anymore. It is found with DPCIManager, but not in system preferences...

I followed this guide but "audio_cloverALC-120" says "No Audio Codec detected.", if there is no HDAEnabler.

Because without HDAEnabler in macOS Sierra the onboard sound card (Realtek ALC898) is not detected by system.

For this you have to fix file permissions of "HDAEnabler1.kext" with Kext Wizard.

After a lot of trial and error this is how it worked for me permanently. Copy „HDAEnabler1.kext“ to /System/Library/Extensions/ (https://github.com/toleda/audio_kext_enabler) Repair kext files with Kext Wizard, file permissions have to be changed Reboot Check with DPCI Manager if „Realtek...
