That said, I plugged into the sys_fan port and nothing ever happened. Instead, I found if I plug it directly into the PSU instead I can get the fan to spin, but no control any longer.

So, I built my hack according to one of the "golden builds" but used a cooler master elite 130 case and the case fan does not spin.
I have tried reconnecting/turning around the connectors, etc to no avail. Does anybody have any idea on a compatible case fan I can pop into the 120/122mm slot...

And this his is a problem in both Windows and OSX, I only just realized it the other day as I haven't had much time the past month.
heart of the issue: my main case fan does not work/spin. BiOS simply reports it at 0rpm, which leaves me unsure if it even sees it at all...

I know this is old, but I'm searching up something different, I just wanted to clarify:
The built-in bluetooth will work with Mac OS X while the WiFi will not.
A simple multibeast install got it working fine for me with this MoBo. Mostly consistently for me, as well.
is your bluetooth (internal, pre-installed) still working for you?
I've gotten mine to work occasionally (usually after a bluetooth preferences file delete and reboot) but only once I booted, then upon reboot I have to cycle through deleting preference files.
