Got audio to work 889 on Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

Just curious. Why did you provide the files as .rar? Its not like they needed to be compressed. They are pretty small to begin with! Just adds one more pita step to deal with.

How does one use the Multibeast after the first time?

Okay! Nevermind! I just read the pdf that came with the Multibeast! Duh.

How does one use the Multibeast after the first time?

I want to tweak my post-installation settings using the Multibeast, but I am not sure if each time I use it I need to re-check all of the settings to retain them or if each time I run the Multibeast whatever I check is added to the previously installed items. I cannot seem to find any...

    third time's a charm

Re: third time's a charm [SOLVED - more or less] Okay. Update. Actually, all it takes is a cold-boot to get it to boot up properly the first time. A warm-boot will fail every time. Interesting hiccup, but not something worth working hard on to solve.

    third time's a charm

Also, it does do it when not overclocked, although I do not know if it does it under the "Optimized Settings" in BIOS. I am guessing that Windows is doing something to the MBR on the OS X drive that takes a couple of failed boots for OS X to correct before it will load correctly. I just have no...

    third time's a charm

I tried the Chameleon to boot into Win7 once but it just caused the computer to restart instead of going straight into Windows like it does with OS X. If you or anyone else has a suggestion for how to tweak it to make it work, I'm for it!

    third time's a charm

I have an interesting thing going on with my OS X install. It is loaded on a separate hard drive from my Windows 7 drive. Whenever I restart the computer after a session in Windows and use F12 to boot into OS X, it takes three tries before it works. The first two times it hangs up before the...

BIOS time changes by six hours when reboot to Windows 7

Are you overclocking your CPU? Funny things can happen if your hardware configuration doesn't like some minor detail of your BIOS settings.

BIOS time changes by six hours when reboot to Windows 7

I presume you have already flashed your BIOS.

BIOS time changes by six hours when reboot to Windows 7

Actually, the time in Windows was changing, which makes sense since it was fixed by a registry entry. Didn't check BIOS to see if it was affecting BIOS as well. Just assumed that was where the problem was in my original post because I couldn't see how something done in OS X on a separate drive...

BIOS time changes by six hours when reboot to Windows 7

I have OS X on a separate drive from Windows 7 and use F12 to choose which OS I want to use when I boot up. Whenever I return to using Windows after a session in OS X, the clock reads six hours earlier! Pretty funny, actually, but would be interesting and worthwhile to solve. Has anyone else...

    Overclock settings for GA-X58A-UD7 w/Core i7-950

Here are the BIOS settings I am using for a modest overclock with stock cooling system. I have not tested this with Prime95 yet, but so far it has been very stable. Advanced CPU Features: CPU Clock Ratio..........................x23 Intel (R) Turbo Boost Tech...........Disabled CPU Cores...

    Resolution Display Problem

I have the same problem. I have a 24" Lenovo flatscreen monitor that is capable of much higher resolutions and an EVGA GTS 450 graphics card. Snow Leopard gives me 1200 x 800 as the only option. I used a custombeast instead of the multibeast for the install. Should I use the multibeast to...
