check if have
enable in the bios Azalia codec
also check your codac the picture you have posted shows Audio id 885
for the motherboard you have listed it codac 889 so it should show Audio id 889
see here
http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product ... id=3973#sp
let us know

Azalia: Yes is activated.
Codec: Yes i was surprised too why it says id 885 and not id 889.
But i 1000% clicked [x] ALC889 and not ALC885/889a.

Gigabyte GA-Z68X UD3H-B3 (Rev v1.3) Bios F11

my friend you codec is Realtek ALC888B

Just curious. Why did you provide the files as .rar? Its not like they needed to be compressed. They are pretty small to begin with! Just adds one more pita step to deal with.

I couldn't agree more IDD. Thank you for your hard work with this. It is working fine on 10.7.3. Do you think it will work, if re-applied after doing the combo upgrade to 10.7.4? My 10.7.3 install is no longer "clean". And the sound is working perfectly.

if i was you do a backup image (just in case if something go wrong)
then do the "combo upgrade to 10.7.4"
do a "apple-rollback"
and see if it works

if that don't work then do then do the post 1

Thank you, i got it to work !!!!

Just as someone mentioned around page 2-3 i had to remove all files associated with the audio in system/library/extensions and then just follow the other steps :)

Thanks once again <3
