I have a successful skylake ITX build using the Asus Maximus VIII Impact. However, I did need to swap out the built in wifi/lan card for a Dell DW1560 (also known as the Broadcom BCM94352Z). It definitely wasn't an easy process to get it all working, just to warn you. If you're patient, it can...
Yup, follow ammulder's guide here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capitan-desktop-guides/178197-guide-el-capitan-skylake-h170n-wifi-10.html
There's 2 kexts for the wifi part of the card and 2 more kexts for the bluetooth part of the card. Both of them are working wonderfully now.
Hey ammulder! I wanted to say thank you so much for this guide/thread. I finally got El Capitan 10.11.2 running on my Asus Maximus VIII Impact thanks to the lessons learned in this thread!
I would really love to know this too. Editing this manually led to a corrupted system cache that was preventing me form booting. I think doing this via clover would be much safer.

Congrats itsmikerofl!
I've been running into problems with my 980ti on a similar Asus board. Could I ask what steps you took to get your card working? I've installed the web drivers, but then after I reboot, my screen goes to sleep and won't wake up. The only way i...

I did install FakeSMC. I may do a clean install again after work. Would you suggest skipping it next time?
I think much of the hardware I'm using is similar to your Gigabyte build. Are there certain things I should avoid?
Could I second the request for the clover folder? I'm still running into problems with my 980ti, but maybe your config will help shed some light on that as well.

So I completed another install from the ground up today. I had much better luck using the clover installer, then just using multibeast for some kexts.
I still seem to run into problems with the graphic card. I'm running an EVGA 980ti. I've installed the web drivers...
I have the same problem on an Asus Maximum VIII Impact. I get OSX installed, I get everything working except for the graphics card.
I've been using the iMac 17,1 profile that ammulder suggested in the Skylake Starter Guide. I remove the nv_disable=1 flag, I add kext-dev-mode=1 and ndva_drv=1...

So I rebuilt the config.plist from the ground up and it's still giving me problems. I think it's something that I messed up in multibeast. I'm going to start over and I may try the "Alternative Post-Install" method instead.

@ammulder
I've updated the config.plist on the EFI of the boot drive. It's still stuck in a restart loop. I think something else with MultiBeast may have messed it up. Is there anything that I should avoid in there?
