just had a similair problem..what i did after the installation of multibeast is..i restarted with unibeast usb..started disk utilitys and did a permission repair..after that it worked for me..rebooted just fine..

oke..thx for the file..now only figuring out how that editing works of dsdt..

hdmi is enabled..if i boot with GE=No and npci=0x3000 ML boots just fine.. no black screen..i want hdmi audio to be enabled. dsdt editing i do not understand..i am still a noob at this but learning it fast.. maybe someone can help me with the audio editing?? and how to set up chimera correct...

yes..settings are correct.. PM is enabled.. EDIT: got the audio to work with alc898 no dsdt. now only figure out how to get the hdmi audio to work.

i installed a new copy of ML. followed youre instructions but ML does start only screen goes black. tried to boot with -v. no errors.screen still goes black. any idea? it seems like the bios works or am i mistaken. also my system hangs. see screenshot

i have another question.. my bios verision is 1309. i downloaded the modified bios and used the flash back butten with a usb stick. how do i know if my bios has been updated?? my bios still says version 1309

is it a problem if i leave the video card in my pc..because i can install ML without any problem..
