My BIOS SMBIOS is how you say above, and I'm on 14.6 Mojave, all is unto date and how it should be. I have today had a new Radeon VII card in my computer, and, so far, no freezes / crash.. yet - I'll report back if it does though.
I had hyperX Preditor 3600MHz 4x16, I think these should of worked but the sticks might of been corrupt or something.
My new ones are still HyperX Predator 3200MHz RGB it looks cool - slightly cheaper in price also, 4x16GB
I thought it was the GPU or DP cable, but, after more and more and more investigation, its all down to the RAM. I got some new RAM installed, and it runs amazingly!
some more from console, the below from what I can tell, is just before a computer freeze? does anything look wrong etc?I really have no idea!?

Hi! I've got the Sapphire Radeon VII card. I have issues with DisplayPort connection to my monitor. I get a computer lags and then freezes. But, if I pull the DisplayPort connection, I save it and all is working normally!
Ever heard of anything like that? Could it be my monitor, or the card...
another question I'm looking at console, and does the below look worrying?

Its my computer still crashes with a change of display port cable, so looking at hardware issues?
I'm pretty new to all of this so I would need a link to an actual product so I know I'm buying the right one (pretty please).

Hi! Me again. So in my hack I have a Radeon VII Sapphire 16GB - I'm going to replace it, but could you tell me what I should replace it with? I'm running Mojave 10.14.6.
Something that would work flawlessly would be great, thanks
Yes, all is connected correctly as above diagram... do you want to know whats been wrong with it... well firstly I'm having my 4 DIMMs replaced, ony got 2 in there now the other 2 computer didn't boot bit odd.
But the main mother of all kernel_task system crashes is the result of a DisplayPort...
second stick froze machine and crashed.
third stick - the computer didn't even boot up at all, not even to clover screen.
I'm on the forth and final stick....
memory I have is this: https://www.hyperxgaming.com/en/memory/predator-ddr4
at the moment I just ran a memory test on one stick only in the system and it crashed, no other apps running.
I'm on the next single stick of memory, will report back, any other ideas if this doesn't work?
thanks
ok, so just got my kernel_task back with a system crash... it happened when I added a external disk SATA (not solid state) and used carbon copy... and without the disk and carbon copy deleted the kernel_task stays in place.
