I am pretty sure i am missing something very simple here. I have had sound on this machine working under MB for sometime now, but thought i'd get slick and attempt clover.
System Info :
OS: Mavericks 10.9.2
CPU: i7-3770 CPU
Motherboard GA-Z77X-UP5 TH (ALC898)
Graphics : Onboard Intel HD 4000...
export it in hex by using this command : ioreg -lx
it still won't look the same as what is above, until you put it into plistedit pro - once you do that it will convert it into something like the above
That was the easy part ;)
Even after doing all of this my hack doesn't show the custom...
thanks for the suggestion, however i had the same outcome.. .white screen with the apple logo and then it hung.. if i boot with -v i get a line that says "root device id is... "
after that line i get a bunch of +'s and then it hangs
has anyone attempted this on a 9470? Technically its still the 70 series laptops however i suspect i can't get it going because all of the ports are USB 3... i could be wrong.. but any guidance would be great:)

On My hack (almost identical setup to this one) if i try to airplay with a MacPro 3,1 SysDef the machine switches resolutions like it wants to be able to airplay and then crashes back to the previous...
good suggestion, but didn't work for me, once the screen goes blank it spins up the dvd drive every few minutes, preventing the machine from going to sleep
