Yes. From a reboot, if I turn on the Apollo after booting it connects. Same with turning off and turning on again a bit later.

Thanks @Higgie! I looked again at IORegistry and noted these new items: Still no TB drivers reported loaded in system report, but unlike earlier today was able to run the UA Apollo installer and now I'm looking at this: Thanks so much!

You're absolutely right. Not sure how I wound up with those settings. Reloaded EFI from a backup with these options enabled. TB still not connecting to the Apollo though.

    Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Trying to make sure AppleVTD was working I noted there was no entry in the OC Delete section for deleting the DMAR table so I tried adding it, but then when trying to save, it gave the following config error message and wouldn't save it until I addressed the error by adding the iMac 19.1 model...

    Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Hi @CaseySJ, I'll add another TB issue to your list, this time a non hot plug one. This is the first time I've tried using TB on this system, to connect a UA Apollo Firewire with a TB3 card. The Apollo works fine on my M1 MB Air and on Win 11 of this dual boot Z490 Vision D with: F5, Ventura...

HackinDROM App for OpenCore EFI Creation and Update

I was getting similar behavior on Monterey & OC 0.8.3 Using the right click - Update option I got the following config.plist validation error warning and initially decided not to proceed with updating OC at the time and just upgraded without difficulty to Ventura on 0.8.3. Then saw the...

    Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Thanks @CaseySJ, it's working fine and thanks for your amazing contribution to the community. Also, I noted that on the Z390 thread, @Stork asked if you were a pilot and you responded you'd done ground school. As someone that got my ticket (a long ago flying out of Long Beach when it was...

    Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Hi all: Just completed my Z490 Vision D build last week (10700, iGPU, F5 BIOS, newest OC install with Big Sur) and everything works great and fast with Cinebench 23 multicore score at 12650 (haven't tried TB yet since I don't have any devices) until I put in a Nvidia 2080ti (for Win 11) in the...

    Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Hi @CaseySJ, thanks for all your contributions to stretching life in the Hackintosh. I'm finally looking to upgrade my ancient build (#2 shown below) to a Z490 Vision D system identical to your system described here in terms of CPU, RAM and NMVe drives. The difference in the systems is that I'd...

    Stork's Zorro Build: Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000

Another HUGE THANKS. I had used MultiBeast v9.0.1 originally but now with v9.1.0 and the boot flag option (and new drivers and kexts) it's flawless. I swapped the 1050Ti into the HD6850 system and the Unigine Heaven benchmark went from 26 FPS to 58 FPS. Amazing for an entry level card running on...

    Stork's Zorro Build: Z68X-UD3H - i7-2600K - HD3000

Hey Stork: I have a pair of clone of Zorro systems on the old F12 BIOS, one with a 6850 and the other with HD3000 graphics that I upgraded last week from Mavericks to 10.12.4 using your Son of Zorro guide, using Clover, and both went perfectly, so a huge THANKS! I also got a 1050Ti card to...
