Can you log-in to the App Store and download other apps? If the issue is simply iPhone & iMovie, did you install them from a disc? Or purchase an older version in the App Store? I believe version 8 & 9 of iLife require new purchase via App Store... I have v8, must re-purchase.

I am having a similar issue. Did you clone/create a bootable back-up on a partition on the same physical HD? I am guessing that is my issue ... my BIOS automatically tries to boot from my ML installation. I can boot fine from the UniBeast USB, but from the Chimera it is a mess....

I had the same issue, and will second the advice to delete existing trackpad profile, then re-configure. Should work fine!
