I find out the headphone jack will not give any output if I insert a Apple headphone with mic in it. I used to have it work. What would possibly go wrong?

Well I just find out that 860 EVO 2TB is more or less the same price of the WD Black 1TB. Now it becomes if I want more space or faster speed. LOL

So whether I should choose between WD, Samsung or just go back to SATA for lower power consumption?

Although it may be a little bit off-topic, I am planning to upgrade SSD. I am currently 960 Pro 512GB planning to upgrade to 1TB. Is WD Black 1TB WDS100T2X0C better or Samsung 970 Evo for 9360 in macOS?

Yep, definitely usable as a daily driver. The only problem I have now, is that the battery life is still less than what I get in Windows. Cpu package wattage keeps at 1.9W lowest when idle.

Me too. I tried ssdtprgen by piker but no luck. The idle speed is still 1.3ghz with 3.7ghz at max. Mine is 8550u too.

Well I made all the changes you mentioned and so far no more freeze. Will tell if this happen again. Thanks By the way I changed my SMBIOS to the one equipped with Skylake CPU and it works all fine

Here it is. Thanks It could happen right after you login or it may happen after you use the computer for few hours... But the most significant timing of the freeze would be the time when there are heavy loading on SSD e.g. downloading system update. I freeze about 6 times to get iTunes update...

Well now I have some new problem. The computer will frequently freeze when there are high speed downloading from internet or heavy loading on SSD. I have no clue what's happening. Do any you guys have this problem?

But when I check the Info.plist of the AppleBacklightInjector.kext, it does show the same content with the one you give How does this happen? Update: I find out that it is due to the backlightlevel set in the clover. Once you delete that systemparameters, it will works like a charm

But I did follow the guide and git pull the new applebacklightinjector.kext and install it to /L/E. How should I do now?

So now you get the same brightness as you get in Windows? because still no luck for me LOL

I have updated the kext but still no luck. Actually the OS show no brightness slide in the system preference and I don't know if it's matter.
