Ok, I removed the two DSDT entries from Acpi section of Clover Configurator, removed the SSDT and SSDT-XOSI from EFI/Clover/ACPI, and left FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext and FakePCIID.kext installed in S/L/E. Running smoothly here still.

Mine stopped doing this when I upgraded to El Cap. Go figure...

Ok, so you need to keep FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext. I never used this kext before this fix, so it's necessary to keep this?

If we've already applied this fix and upgraded to 10.11.1, what would the steps be to remove the fix then?

I have nearly the same board and used the kext located here. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/313-atherose2200ethernet/ I think the link I provided before was incorrect. Using Clover, I just dropped the kext in EFI\Clover\Kexts\10.10. Works a charm!

Of course it's the cooler. You probably didn't install it properly. Have you checked your idle and load CPU temps?

Check your fan settings in your BIOS. Sounds like they're BIOS controlled. Also, what are you idle CPU temps? You may need to reseat your CPU cooler.

I was able to resolve this issue by running the 10.10.5 Combo Update again on my system.

You'll want to gain access to a Windows PC and use Rufus to create a UEFI USB key along with your ISO. I don't believe that Boot Camp installation media is the way to go here as I cannot guarantee it creates the UEFI structure. Check the contents of the USB key for an EFI folder. If its not...

Resolved my bluetooth issue by reinstalling 10.10.5 via the combo update instead of the app store. Will probably stick to combo update files from here on out... Click here for my build log.
