OC 0.6.7 launcheroption and recovered files

Nothing, just an empty folder named "recovered files", each time I reboot there is new one created. EDIT : Found the culprit : needed to disable the OC entry in the Bios, no more recovered files :) EDIT 2 : Recovered files came back after 2-3 reboots. Leaving LauncherOption as disabled for now.

OC 0.6.7 launcheroption and recovered files

Hi folks, I updated to OC 6.7 and I did not notice that Launcheroption did replace the old way for Bootstrap. It is disabled by default. Unfortunately, anytime I try to set it to "Full", it is working fine but I have "recovered files" in the trash at each reboot ... Is there a way to get rid...

[Success] Radeon RX 6800 XT - Big Sur

Ok but Nvidia was able to provide web drivers without giving source code to Apple. Nvidia is 100% guilty for not supporting Mac anymore. For me Nvidia gave up because : - Relationship between Nvidia and Apple is bad - no more Macs with Nvidia products - Support for old nvdia Macs became too...

[Success] Radeon RX 6800 XT - Big Sur

I do not have a crystal ball but I think we will see drivers for 6 series AMD cards. GPU in Apple silicon chips is really weak compared to modern GPU from AMD/Nvidia. If they want to keep high end computer for 3D tasks, they have no option today. I have a RX 5700 XT and do not plan to change it...

    Robbish's 8yr old ATX IvyBridge Hackintosh GA-Z77-DS3H - i5-3570K - HD 4000 [OpenCore/macOS Big Sur]

iMacpro1,1 SMBIOS is best IMHO for Ivy Bridge + dGPU such as RX XXX = it decodes everything in the GPU compared to the CPU, macOS is way faster when there are heavy folders (i.e. display app folder immediately, no loading time). Better DRM management too. In other words, you have all the...

    Opencore boot entry name

Yes, after new updates or other changes it fixes the boot entry name but this is weird, it has to look for a name somewhere ?! I would like to change it whenever I want.

    macOS 11.2 Update

This is true, when you got the problem enabling SIP solves the problem in most cases. If you have SIP disabled and you see the update, no need to find a solution. This is why you think it is not true... because it is working for you with a given system. I have 4 hacks, two of them needed to...
