iTunes Protected Video Black Screen Solution (HDCP)

I am also having the "downloaded media starts to play, then black video with audio, then HDCP alert" thing. I only got it working at all tonight as I have an Ivy Bridge 4600. I had to change my definition to a MacMini 6,2 using Clover, the current Lilu (1.1.6) and Shiki (2.0.4). I have them in...

'Safari Freezes hackintosh to death' problem, which everyone just ignores. [Intel HD 4400/4600]

I'm having the same issue. Apparently so are some non Hack users so perhaps is isn't just a Hack thing. I have the 4600 BTW. Very annoying. Seems to be web video ads that crash it. I'm going to disable Flas altogether and see what that does.

SSD not Recognized as Bootable after Install

I'm going to try this later. Been racking my brain and this site for fix for this boot from SSD issue. Had no problem on my HDD only system. Only SSD system giving me grief.

Clover Yosemite install - not creating a bootable installation on SSD

I'm having problems creating a bootable Yosemite SSD using Chimera. Boot0 errors, Can't find the kernel errors. Tried Clover, no go. I'm going to try and install on my HD later today. Had no problem upgrading my other Hackintosh that is HDD only. Just can't get SSD to work.

GA77-DS3H - HD4000 - cannot Boot with both DVI + HDMI cables connected

Just had a wild hair idea and it seemed to have fixed it for me. In the boot options file /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist I removed the option to boot with 1080p display mode. My monitors are at different resolutions and I think it freaks the system out. Once I deleted those lines, powered down...

GA77-DS3H - HD4000 - cannot Boot with both DVI + HDMI cables connected

I just upgraded my system to Mavericks and am having the same issue. Different MOBO thought. I can boot with one or the other, but not both. Endless loop.

Use HD3000 and separate video card for dual display?

How about for an Intel board which is what I happened to be working with at the moment?

Use HD3000 and separate video card for dual display?

How about a MOBO that doesn't have a dsdt? I can extract one but there is no HDEF section to edit. Can it just be added somewhere in the tree?

Use HD3000 and separate video card for dual display?

Please, do tell how you patched in the HD3000 to the dsdt for us semi-noobs?

Use HD3000 and separate video card for dual display?

Is it possible to use the HD3000 through the motherboard to drive one monitor and a PCIe graphics card to run a second monitor? I have a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 (using MacMini system definition) which has an HDMI output on the motherboard only (comes with an HDMI to DVI adapter). I also have a...

    Intel dh67bl

This totally saved my bacon! Before this I would only get "A bootable device was not detected." I was going crazy. Thank you so much for this!

    Hardware video acceleration tests

Like I said, I did a fresh install using 10.7.2, not 10.7. That's what made the difference for me. And I do have GE=Yes which was the default install option. I have app store functionality. If I use anything other that Mac Pro 3,1 I get kernel panics right our of the shoot. Can't use anything...

Final Cut Pro X - Crashing when transitions or text is used

I second this experience. Everything is fine until I add titles, and then it's a forced reboot if I want to do anything else.

    Hardware video acceleration tests

An update and some discoveries. I decided to trash and reinstall my system. It was just frustrating. In the course of that process I noticed my UniBeast was installing flat 10.7 when I thought I was working with 10.7.2 the whole time. I redownloaded the Lion installer and sure enough it had...
