Hi all,
I have this build as my HTPC right now with Windows 8.1, but now I hear it could possibly be a hackintosh. Would there be any compatiblity issues? The only other Hackintosh I have is a HP Probook 4530s, so that install was very easy, especially since there's a whole subforum dedicated...
so I installed Mavericks to the flash drive with unibeast, and booted it. First, I got a choice to go to mountain lion or mavericks at the beginning. I chose Mavericks. Now I'm at a screen with two pictures that change to a keyboard and a mouse. I can move my mouse with the trackpad. Is this...
I am going from PC, so I am used to having the button I open and close tabs with ctrl+w right there, and I use that a lot so it's much easier for me.
And the EC reset worked, thanks. Think I updated Parallels, so that's probably what did it.
And I chose this forum because it was specific to...

Also, when I press any key on the chimera load, it says the only partition is Windows FAT32. I installed...
Using rBoot brings up the Chimera screen, but when I choose rBoot, it says "Can't find mach_kernal" and when I choose OSX ML it says "Mach-0 file has bad magic number."
Update: Using Hiren's bootcd I can get to the chimera screen and the apple loading screen, but then this appears...
Error was:
VT-x features locked or unavailable in MSR.
(VERR_VMX_MSR_LOCKED_OR_DISABLED)
One system on the disk, just OS X.
I have since then formatted the flash drive to NTFS. I may have access to a mac to redo the flash drive.
I was trying to mess around with virtual machines, but it kept giving me an error. I turned on virtualization in BIOS but it still booted fine. I was looking for solutions online for the error and one of the solutions was to do a disk permissions check and repair. Without thinking I was using a...
