Thanks for the reply. Okay so let me see if I got this right. Clover will run on none UEFI boards, I wasn't sure about that, I'm not a fan of doing beta stuff on my main computer and currently I only have the one, and I can still load El Capitan with out changing to the UEFI from bios...

Reinstalled Lion, had to do it twice for some reason, after the first time I would get the restart greyed out screen after a minute. Then I upgraded to 10.7.5 with the system updater, lost sound of course, ran MB 4.3 and got it back, I believe my MB set up is from Gordo. using a DSDT file also...

ahh I figured it was an OE.... I should have left it alone, it was working... I guess fresh install. I can't get to the S/L/E/AppleTyMCEDriver.kext file with out booting up. Time to make space for a clone, and plan on testing... before going to ML....

I lost sound too. Internal opitinons not showing on the sound control panel even. Went back and tried an earlier version of MB, no luck. So I tried the deleting the enabler files mentioned and the AppleHDA.kext Repaired premissions va hard disk utility. The ran MB 4.7.... now it will not...

Disk utility didn't see the drive at that time. I'm up and now and transferring stuff to the new drive. Still need to move hard drives and see what if all things are working. Will post an update tomorrow some time, but for now seems good.
