    The 4K Dell OptiMac - 9020 MT - Core i7-4790 - Radeon RX 570 - LG 4K IPS Monitor

Yes, just a reminder this is for the SFF version with a native WiFi/BT card connected to a pcie adapter which normally requires a connection to an internal USB 2.0 header. Since the SFF doesn't have one I bought an external USB header adapter and routed the cable to the inside of the case. My...

I narrowed down the sleep issue to the BT USB plug. If I unplugged the cable it would sleep/wake normally*. I found some posts that said if it is plugged into an "external" USB port then it must be configured to show as internal, otherwise, it will cause sleep issues. So I went through...

I'm not sure if it's a reliable metric, but there has been no discernible difference in Geekbench scores ticked or not in my tests. But it certainly makes sense there would be a performance hit considering the frequencies. I also didn't notice a big difference in power consumption (Intel Power...

Ya. A lot of that went over my head. So I will just leave it normal.

Thanks! I switched it and now it is idling as expected. Will switch back if I have any stability issues.

I wouldn't mind just losing a port if it came down to it. I would rather have one non-working USB port than an external cable route. I will attempt this when I get some free time.

Also, my CPU (i7-4790) frequency is almost always close to 3.60 GHz, even when idling. Is this expected behavior? Shouldn't it idle lower? I am not noticing any stability issues though, so it's not a big deal.

Wow. Nice and clean. I might have to redo my wiring like that. I was also thinking about stealing a front USB 2 port to make it totally internal (if possible) but was not confident in my abilities. Right now I just took out the other PCIe bracket and routed through that. I am pretty sure they...

Thanks for the guide. I bought an Optiplex 9020 SFF (i7-4790 + 8 GB ram) for $160 on eBay. I also had a BCM94360CS2 + M.2 adapter sitting around from previous failed Hackintosh attempts. Found a $15 PCIe to M.2 adapter and a $7 USB header adapter and WiFi/BT works perfectly. No more terrible...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Makes me believe it is a hardware issue or something is not set correctly in BIOS. You might try loading defaults in the BIOS and making the changes in post #1. If it still doesn't work in Windows (after installing all drivers) then you probably have faulty hardware.

https://github.com/chris1111/VoodooHDA-2.9.0-Clover-V12 Also, not to be rude or anything, and I'm also a noob hackintosher, but 100% working guides are rare and a little Googling/reading documentation is required from time to time. And if the documentation is Greek to you, then you might...

I just installed VooDooHDA (classic install). Headphone jack works perfectly.

I updated my post. Platform ID is 0x3EA50000. I also just ended up installing VoodooHDA. Not sure if that's "wrong" or not, but now my audio jack is working, so I'm happy.
