I find this hard to believe that you got this score. Not saying you're dishonest but I never got that with my GTX 960 and I was at like 50 secs with my 980 ti.

That doesn't give any comparison at all to Final Cut pro. So I'm guessing what you're saying is that the program FCPX is 2x faster at editing than Premiere pro when given an AMD card? I know the 980 ti would beat two 280x's in premiere, but I'm not sure if they would be faster editing the same...
Hey everyone so I can't find the best place to ask this question regarding FCP X and Premiere Pro, so let me ask it to everyone in this thread and see if I have any luck.
Would it be better to have Dual R9 280x's for 4K video editing in FCP, or my current 980 ti for Premiere?

I haven't even tried sleep yet because I've heard of the problems, and power management seems to be fine. It's definitely not working correctly even though the resolution looks fine.
I don't know how to get my card to be "bug free" because it is recognized as "R9 xxx 8gb" which is good, my 4K monitor is fine, however there is still slight artifacts occasionally and it definitely is not working correctly.

Nvm, I found the post, however am curious if the beta FakeSMC kext patch is still compatible with the public release of 10.12.1? Also is this what you used to get your rx 480 to work correctly? Or just so that the kext modifications survive updates?
