    Asus X299 - Support

This terminal command will list all non-apple kexts loaded, except for codeless / .plist only kexts: kextstat | grep -v com.apple

What does the nvidia driver preference pane say? (screen grab it for us?)

Radeon VII (and new AMD gpus) compatibility

Have you tried disabling iGPU and using iMac Pro 1,1 SMBIOS?

Does 10.14.5 Update Properly Recognize the i9 Processors?

Correct. ‘About this mac’ is purely cosmetic and all 16 threads of the i9 should be available for use.

macOS Native Discrete GPU Power Management

to be fair, I'm not sure codeless kexts will show up with kextstat (my dAGPM does not show up nor does my USBPorts.kext via kextstat, but the latter is definitely injecting)

Issue with detecting multiple displays on Mojave

Multiple displays do not work on Nvidia without the drivers loading.

Mojave 10.14.4 Port Limit Removal Patch

yes; just using the USBPorts.kext worked for me. It seems to inject the same properties as the .AMLs. BUT... USBPorts.kext in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other might only work if FakeSMC is there as well (something about how kext injection works in clover, but that might be outdated info). Once you DO put...

Mojave 10.14.4 Port Limit Removal Patch

For a couple of reasons: 1) Having to choose 15 of your possible 26 ports (as of 100 series) means that not everyone is going to want the same choice of ports active. The configurations and headers in use by any one person could be very different from the next person on the same hardware. 2)...

Mojave 10.14.4 Port Limit Removal Patch

That guide is awesome and gives you all the things you need to know, but it’s easy to make little mistakes. Hackintool makes it much easier to check with ports you need/want to use. Since you need to whittle down the 26 ports to 15, maybe try excluding HS7-14 and SS7-10,(using usbinjectall and...

Mojave 10.14.4 Port Limit Removal Patch

On a Z170 I think the USB 3.1 ports are handled by a separate controller (ASMedia maybe?) Anyway, it seems you've only enabled 4 of USB ports at this point. Of the files it generates, I only needed SSDT-EC.aml in EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched/, and USBPorts.kext in EFI/CLover/kexts/other/ to get the...

[In progress] SSDT for Thunderbolt 3 Hotplug

Yeah, I wiped the kexts. Device shows up when plugged in at boot but disappears when unplugged and doesn’t return when plugged back in. (Mostly regular behavior) Was worth a shot :)

[In progress] SSDT for Thunderbolt 3 Hotplug

I tried the attached SSDTs and thunderbolt settings but I wasn't able to match those settings as I'm on 22g BIOS. Hot Plug did not work for me (test device was Startech TB3-TB2 adaptor into a Blackmagic Mini Monitor).
