Same problem I had. I formatted the EFI partition last night and reinstalled Sierra from scratch, armed with the knowledge of two days of hammering on this. But again, the fresh ACPI files gave me errors. Am I installing it wrong?

I extracted dsdt.aml to dsdt.aml with iasl but it wouldn't recompile because of multiple errors. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but the process for editing dsdt seems to require some kind of computer science degree or something! I can usually figure these things out, but this one has me beat!
