Firewire card that'll work with os Sierra.

Excellent point. I neglected to consider that maybe none of my PCI extensions operate under OS X. I wonder if I can dig up some other PCI card and test if that is detected. Maybe I can find a PCI network card. I use a HP 8300 Elite CMT.

The FireWire 800/400 card to own for 100% compatibility

Zooming in on a picture of the Belkin F5U623 I found on-line allowed me to identify that it uses a TSB82AA2 chip. And apparently so does the Lacie 107755 firewire 800 card. Both the Belkin and the Lacie claim to work under OS X. Does anybody have experience with these cards? Do they really work...

The FireWire 800/400 card to own for 100% compatibility

Has anyone tried the Belkin F5U623 card? This is plain PCI, which is exactly what I am looking for as I have no available PCIe slots left. But I do not know what chip drives this Belkin card, so I do not know if it works under OS X. I already own a Texas Instruments TSB82AA2 (sometimes also...

What would be a low-cost, decent video card?

I am getting confused. Wasn't the Radeon 7000 series a PCI and AGP ERA card? I remember owning a Radeon 7200 or 7400 (which I foound to be a very buggy series) before I upgraded to a Radeon 9200. Were you referring to this Radeon 7000 series, or is there another Radeon 7000 series?

What would be a low-cost, decent video card?

Hello Everyone! I kept studying the last few releases of the recommended hardware list, and found that the majority of video cards shown there are absolute overkill for my needs. Could you guys recommend a decent PCI-e video card I could use in a Hackintosh with no trouble! The HP 8000 or the...

Using an Apple Thunderbolt Display with my CustoMac

Hello Everyone, I am wondering if I can use my ThunderBolt Display with a CustoMac. Perhaps some of you have already some experience with this, or maybe you are more certain than I am in how the technology works with these devices. On an authentic Mac, I just connect the ThunderBolt Display to...
