it probably is the last thing for most of the development team who work on things like this like opencore but there are some sites that report hibernation to work ..just with very specific hardware model combinations. I don't think it's a widespread thing

I agree alot from the above the only problem is what will happen in 2-3 years down the line. The question will be if newer mac os can run on older z490-z690 motherboards and cpu combinations. Apple milks buyers with alot of money but after hackintoshing, the money will be worth it in the sense...
