Ok now something weird is happening.
The mouse cursor and the keyboard input stops every few seconds.
The cursor moves when I move it and then stops, and then moves again, and then stops.
What is this?
FIXED IT!
I don't know if it was because I also entered the Fake Device ID or if I copied the kexts to all locations possible (clover kext location, /s/l/e and /l/e).
Either way it's working.
So basically:
Install Clover bootloader
Install Kexts to both /S/L/E and /L/E using KextBeast (/S/L/E...
I'm sorry. I just can't figure this out. I have followed so many guides now that I don't know what my name is anymore.
I am trying to use the Clover bootloader.
It boots up OSX on my computer properly.
I am looking at the bitbucket guide but I don't understand.
What about those DSDT...
Ok, I opened up MultiBeast and built with standard settings.
Now it looks like this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>...
Just tried it again.
I did exactly as described by the guide and it is not working.
I have Chameleon bootloader. EDIT: It's Chimera. Sorry.
Might any entries in /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist interfere?
This is what it looks like:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist...
But it says in the guide to rebuild the cache?
Also, the clover instructions are not really instructions, it just says to put the kexts in the EFI folder and change the config.plist file. That's not very clarifying. Where in the EFI folder should I put the kexts? What in the config.plist should...
Thank you, but I've already done that.
And that guide is for the chimera bootloader.
I changed to the Clover bootloader.
Before I keep asking for more help, I'd like to ask one question regarding that article: How o I rebuild cache?
I think that it's where I screwed up.
Yes yes that's what I am doing. I have the Clover bootloader btw.
But I don't know what to do with all the information provided.
So far I have installed FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext.
Then I opened Clover Configurator and changed the Graphics settings to have IGPlatform...
Hi all!
I am trying to figure out how to install the FakePCIID thing so that my integrated graphics start working.
I am looking at the following articles
https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-fake-pci-id/overview...
After installing the pixelclock patch and SwitchresX to a new user account on my hackintosh
I managed to get 4K@50Hz with a weird twist to it.
The image is perfectly separated at the top, so I have aprox. two 1080p screens side by side,
with a weird flashing full-res half-sized picture at the...

I am willing to help.
I know nothing about writing drivers, but I would love to help you out in other ways.
