with the 5770 I get a black screen while the Apple logo is on and loading and everything kinda shuts down.. but it works with no graphics in (on board) :(- 8Y53

thx for the help so far!! it seems like my CPU was dead too. just got a i7 4790 + ASrock z97 extreme4 for a pretty fair price about to reinstall the hackintosh... do i need to setup everything from new or where should i take it from here? UniBeast/MultiBeast ?!... really appreciate your help!- 8Y53

no, i want to keep the ram and cpu... which mobos will fit? is a ASUS Maximus VII Gene alright? i was looking for some second-hand z97, ...only found a UD3 and the prices werent that fair. i would have to buy a new graphics also in that case... maybe the r9 280x?- 8Y53
