@Rehabman,

Yes, I am running 10.9.4 on my w530. I went ahead and created this new thread under Mavericks Laptop support. Sorry about that.

I also have f4fea005de2aec4d425f09490ea2b8e6 for the patched AppleIntelFramebufferCapri

root# md5 /Users/user/Desktop/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri
MD5 (/Users/user/Desktop/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleIntelFramebufferCapri) = f4fea005de2aec4d425f09490ea2b8e6

Still no DP, any other ideas?:)

What if you use Detect Displays in SysPrefs->Displays?

Also, what is com.displaylink.driver.DisplayLinkDriver?

That is for an external USB monitor that I use as an alternative until I get the DP to work.

I tried doing the "Detect Displays" had to hold the option key in the "Display" window but still nothing. :banghead:

I deleted it already with its own uninstaller.

Check in ioreg to be sure it is gone...

Thanks for the tip, I already deleted it. I reinstalled the patched kext, repaired drive permissions, and rebuilt cache.....But still no DP upon reboot. :banghead:

No more ideas. We use 01660003 with that patch with ProBook/EliteBook. The ProBooks have HDMI and the EliteBooks have DP. It works there. Same SMBIOS, same ig-platform-id, same chipset, same graphics chip...

You might read about the background of that patch here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-probook/96186-unified-appleintelframebuffercapri-ivy-probooks.html

FYI: It is a little weird...
- you're using PCIRootUID=1 (may be required, but you should check... most can be left at default, which I believe is zero)
- you're using IGPlatformID,but also Chameleon bootloader. IGPlatformID is specific to Chimera. Not implemented in Chameleon.
