I am on 10.7.2 with installer v.3.1.0. The battery indicator on top-right always says it is 100% charged if unplugged. If being plugged, the indicator is correct by showing how many percent left.

I remember it once worked correctly with VoodooBattery, but that kext broke the OS, caused it unbootable.

It is not a big deal but better if it indicates correctly. Just wonder is this normal for you guys or not?

Definitly not. Re run the installer.

Reinstalled but no luck. Do you have any guess what is the cause? Or is there any alternative for the battery kext? Thanks :)

Try your battery in windows or linux. I'd bet it doesn't work right.

You selected the correct DSDT right?

The battery works correct on Windows 7 (I have dual boot). My BIOS is F.0A and I chose that accordingly while installing the installer.

The screenshot attached shows what I see when the laptop is unplugged.

A couple of times mine stayed at the same percentage for a while, but this was temporarily.
I do not know.

Anything I can try like disable this in DSDT and install some kexts instead?

No.

try repairing permissions.

Tried both Kext Utility and Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permission, still no luck. Is there anything else I should try?

Since my model has a slot to insert a SIM card, would this be the reason it works differently than other common Pro Books? Anyway, thanks so much for your attention :)
