[Fix] Intel HD4200/HD4400/HD4600 Mobile on Yosemite

Here it is, hopefully this is the right file.

Thanks again!

You're using a strange ig-platform-id (for a laptop)... Post the config.plist you're using.

But the kext should still be loading (as I see the fakeid=0x412).

And AppleIntelMEIDriver is not loading, although I see the device on the PCI bus.

In sum, it implies you deleted the graphics kexts that are used for Intel HD.

My mistake, I believe I had booted through the USB when I posted the first IOReg, I can only assume that is why I had a strange platform id.

I've attached a new IOReg (after booting from the HDD), as well as the config.plist from the HDD.

Thanks again!

The ig-platform-id is wrong. No expectation that the drivers will load with an invalid id.

Try starting with the config.plist from the guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...oting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover-uefi.html

Same graphical glitches, I'm using the config_HD4600_4200.plist, obviously renamed to config.plist.

Thanks for your contribution. I got some problem with your kexts. I use your config_HD4600_4400_4200.plist replace my old config file(i have renamed it), and put the FakePCIID.kext+FakePCIID_HD4600_HD4400.kext into the /clover/kexts/10.10 to install Yosemite(10.10.2) on my laptop. It really boot, nut i can't see anything clearly, just like this:
IMG_20150212_150127.jpgIMG_20150212_150130.jpg
You can see, all things on my screen is "LINE", even not a single word. You can't see anything. But all things "worked", you can even guess where the button is and click it. So i think the problem is on graphcard.
So can you help me how to fit it?
P.S. I use Lenovo Y50-70 ( HD4600+GTX860m(disabled) )+clover i give my clover.7z in attchment.

Try sleeping the display then waking it (hold power button for about 2 sec, then release, then wake with a keypress).

You can also try enabling CSM (Legacy) in BIOS or setting the ScreenResolution in config.plist. You should also try alternate ig-platfrom-id values.

Any help on using VGA as 2nd output on Intel HD 4400 Mobile(i5-4200u)?

Lenovo ThinkPad X240s, MiniDisplayPort works fine.

VGA is not supported. Use an DP->VGA adapter.

I think it might be worth mentioning that ig-platform-id 0x0c260000 works for Intel HD 4400 Mobile... I didn't need to do a AppleIntelFramebufferAzul kext patch to get graphics acceleration working without distortions on the screen.

If someone has already posted this, then I guess I'm just confirming this works
