The Multibeast Setting?
- Drivers>Audio>Realtek ALCxxx>Optional HDAEnabler>Audio ID:2

Does the same thing as THIS Multibeast Setting??
- Drivers>Audio>Realtek ALCxxx>Optional 3 Port (5.1) Audio

That is a little confusing, but I need to verify this.

I only have the 3 (blue, green, pink) audio jacks (and i want 5.1)
I have a GA-H61N-USB3 http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...px?pid=3963#ov

Thank You

Method of injection is different, result is the same:
1. kext: HDAEnabler>Audio ID:2
2. Chimera: >Optional 3 Port (5.1) Audio
3. dsdt: DSDT Database - tonymacx86.com, edit HDEF/layout-id/
find: 0x79, 0x03, 0x00, 0x00
replace: 0x02, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00

I will try the HDAEnabler>"Audio ID:2" first.

If these 3 steps are unsuccessful, is these easier ways of reversing this, that doesn't involve editing the DSDT?

thank you for your help

Only one injection method involves the dsdt; if you don't install the dsdt, no reversal is required.
BTW, dsdt is the most reliable injection method.
