Clarification on my question...any reason to think the mini-pcie/wifi card you just installed wouldn't work on my motherboard? On my initial build, I replaced the card with an Atheros card, so it is of no use.

Awesome - built my machine this afternoon and installed Yosemite (first Hackintosh). Thanks for all the documentation Stork and everyone else.

Had a few KPs whilst trying to access the installer - something to do with the DVI-VGA converter plug being connected. I eventually tried the HDMI on another monitor and it all worked perfectly.

I assumed I could switch back to the DVI port with my older monitor after I installed Yosemite, plugged it in and my machine is freezing :|

Does anyone know a fix/solution for this - I need to use the DVI port. Is it something to do with the DVI to VGA adapter?

EDIT: I'm guessing a DVI-HDMI cable would do the trick?

Any more help would be much appreciated.

TIA

Tom
