Continuity and Handoff Capable Apple Mini Cards + PCIe and mini-PCIe Adapters

Tony how is the told? I am using a Gigabyte GA-B85N and a GA-Z97N-WIFI boards which both have min-PCIEe full and half slots. When I review the Gigabyte web pages and the user manuals I do not see any mention of "bluetooth powered" slots. Am I missing something or looking in the wrong area?

Good modding

Both of your motherboards come with wireless/BT cards miniPCIe slots - the H/Z97N-WIFI comes with the Gigabyte wifi/BT card. So, replacing the Gigabyte card with the iMac Wireless/BT card & adapter won't be a problem. My H97N-WIFI motherboard works with that setup which is as close to working OOB as one can get.

You'll love the challenge of going from two antennas to four antennas. But, if I can get it to work, you, Neil, can do it in your sleep.

Seriously, I can now use my BT keyboard to get into the BIOS; the BT mouse works in the BIOS although not well. Manual sleep/wake-up work like the Real McCoy - BT mouse click wakes up Hector (H97N) just like my Mac Pro.

Hey guys, I have a problem with Handoff. I used the clover patch and enabled Handoff and it works, BUT when I shutdown and power on again it doesn't. I then need to sign out of iCloud from all my devices, restart them and sign in to get it to work again. Anybody know why?

I bought the BCM94360CD from here: Ebay Apple BCM94360CD
and the PCI-E adapter from here: Ebay PCI-E Adapter

Both items took about 3 weeks to arrive.

Handoff, Instant Hotspot, etc. working OOB, so I'm very happy :)

Can you please tell me your product and vendor ID?
They are located in System Report->USB->BCMXXXX

Here we go,

I had a problem booting and it turned out to be because of my GTX 980 card. I modified the configure.plist to have the osxaptio2fixdrv-64. If you have clover I would give it a try, i haven't had a problem since.

So I decided to buy Apple BCM94360CD from below link for $59.99 and arrived a lot earlier than I expected.

It woks charm and speed is awesome. Well, I don't own an iPhone, I was not able to test handoff feature. Guessing it will work.:)

Well, problem I have is that I bought this device because my built-in network ethernets are not working after upgrading to Yosemite. I tried all kind of methods but failed. So, I bought an USB to ethernet adapter and it worked. Except I get "Your device or computer could not be verified" error message.

So, I bought this adapter hoping to resolve issue since it is native Apple adapter but NOT GOOD :banghead:

Same issue, I get same error message.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Thanks

just curious - which slot did you install it in? Could you test it in an 8x slot for me by chance?
