I will try booting with this.

EDIT: When I try booting with this, it freezes at the same place. However, now there are messages that say

Sadly, after rebooting with a monitor attached to the laptop with an HDMI cable, nothing changes. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Try hotplug. Make sure the monitor is set to the HDMI input.

Also, your screen resolution is unspecified in your profile. Not sure which ig-platform-id you're using, but make sure you use one that is likely to work with your system. If you're using 01660004 (IntelAzulFB=4) HDMI will not work (requires kext patches). You can try others (01660003, 01660008, 01660009, IntelAzulFB=3,8,9).
 
Wait...I should be using IntelAzulFB, not IntelCapri​FB? I will try all of those other FB settings and report back.
 
Yes!!!!!! Graphics!!!! I booted the system using IntelAzulFB=4 and ended up with what looks like a picture telling me to turn a keyboard on.

EDIT: Bypassed this screen by pressing enter / space keys a few times.
