NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for 10.10.0 (343.01.01f01) with 'Maxwell' GeForce GTX 970 and 980 Support

I'm trying to get this driver up and running with mine GTX 660-Ti but it won't work.

When I boot with -v I see the following message:
GeForce Sensors: still waiting for accelerator to start

The default driver works fine but the problems started when I switched to the NVIDIA web driver.
I'm using the flag nvda_drv=1 with SMBios MacPro 3,1.

Does somebody know how I can fix this?

Thanks!

I had the exact same thing happen with my GTX660 (non-Ti), iMac 14,2 SMBios.

Trying to fix it i broke graphics card detection entirely and had to restore from backup, now i don't dare try again.
Powermanagement is broken with standard 10.10 drivers for me.

Has anyone gotten CUDA working with GTX 970?

My system is telling me (via the CUDA Preferences pane) that an update is required; but clicking the "CUDA Driver Info & Updates" button does nothing. Anyone know where to find the updated CUDA drivers on nVidia's site?

If you don't NEED them don't get them. These are purely for compatibility and WILL hurt your performance greatly as I have noticed ever since I tried these for years. I first noticed the terrible performance when in Dolphin (The Wii/GC emulator) and ever since I switched back to native... it's been buttery smooth.

Here are some benchmarks to prove my point.

OS X Native: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nv5374jq4a4ftk1/Screenshot 2014-10-20 19.07.38.png?dl=0

Nvidia Web: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h9roq2abpz0yx26/Screenshot 2014-10-20 19.17.43.png?dl=0

So again, only use these if you desperately have to for compatibility.

I am at wits end here and really need some help guys! I can't get my second graphics card to work with anything. I have tried both the default drivers and the Nvidia web drivers on multiple smbios settings.

Here are my specs: two Nvidia GTX 780 3gb, Gigabyte OC Force z87, intel i7 4770k, 3.1 mac pro setting.

The picture attached is what the system profiler says. It detects a display and a card but it says a kext isn't loaded.

I have no clue where to go. I have been stuck at 10.9.1 with this issue and I need a fix big time.

Power management is fine with new drivers, core & memory idling back to 135/648Mhz after OpenGL/CL call, running same GTX770 2GB.
Most likely the issue in system definition/smbios you use.

PS. Got 4K@60Hz running in Yosemite using Kepler and 343 drivers, only works with MacPro/Mini definitions. Does not work with iMac. And have to power cycle DELL U2414q (DP 1.2 MST) upon boot to get it working, otherwise blank screen.

I'm using iMac late 2013 definition.
Thanks for the hint, I'll try Mac Pro / Mini - which model/year definition are you using?

So I got both cards recognized by using graphicsEnabler=yes, but now my HDMI doesn't work for the second monitor.

any suggestions?

My vram cashe also isn't displaying correctly, but I don't think that is too much of a problem.

It turned out that this driver only support 10.10 but not the older 10.9.5 (10.9.x) OS X, it's already written in the website, so unless you upgrade to the latest OS, you won't be able to get your 750ti to work! :(
