Hello,
both RAM & PSU are Haswell compatible.

What's strange is that I built 2 brand new hackintosh : the only differences between the two are :
- the model of PSU
- the model of RAM

And for the two, the same problem I talk about : from time to time boot doesn't work well : the screen hangs up on the Gigabyte splach screen logo and boot never continues.

So I'm wondering if the problem could be a wrong bios setting or if I should flash the bios for the last firmware...

2 new problems :

- sometimes, when booting a message says that the bios has been reseted and I must set it up again in order to run Mac OSX

- sometimes USB isn't working at all : no keyboard, mouse or webcam...

Hello, i have some problem with dual monitors.
I make everything just like tonymacx86, i used multibeast 6.5, unibeast 4.0, mac os 10.9.5. After applying MultiBeast i found some issue. I can't boot up with two displays, lcd tv connected via HDMI, acd 20" connected via DVI. If i connect both displays and turn on computer (or restart it), i'll see gigabyte logo and black screen after this, i can only boot up with one of them and connect another after mac os startup. Maybe i have some problem with bootloader?
P.S. Sorry for my bad English.

Hello,

I searched the thread for "Yosemite" and nothing came up. OS X Yosemite was released for download on the App Store a few days ago, so does that mean that it's not considered pre-release software? Basically, am I allowed to ask: Since you can't just download the install app from the app store and install it, will everything work if I use Unibeast 5.0.1, install, use the same Multibeast (6.0) & config from Mavericks, and then use the same /Extra folder as I am now? If not, what steps do I take to install OS X Yosemite?

Thank you,
HTM

Correct.

Basically, am I allowed to ask:
Sure, ask away.

Of course you can. What makes you say that?

See tonymacx86's http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...-os-x-yosemite-using-unibeast-multibeast.html if you are going to install Yosemite on top of your Mavericks installation. BE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR MAVERICKS INSTALLATION!

I tried it before on SonicSeamus's build (http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-builds/53016-success-ga-z68ma-d2h-b3-i5-2500k-his-5770-hd3000.html) with lion to mountain lion, and I failed - that was just a bad assumption since those versions, as of now (Yay - Yosemite! :headbang:) are respectively 3 & 2 versions old. I just didn't want to wait for my computer to reinstall if this failed since I had work to do. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I couldn't find the update guide earlier for some reason .

*Edit: @Stork, so do I use the .mb file and use MB 6.0 or does MB need to be the Yosemite version? If it needs to be the latest MB, can I still use the .mb file in Tonymac's thread starter post?

Thanks,
HTM

If you going to make a fresh install, yes. If you're going to install over Mavericks, you only need to do what tonymacx86's guides instructs.

In my email notification, you also said "If you going to make a fresh install, yes. If you're going to install over Mavericks, you only need to do what tonymacx86's guides instructs. However, in either case, For 6 Series motherboards, you'll need to add:Drivers > System > AppleACPIPlatorm Rollback > 10.9.5 AppleACPIPlatorm Rollback. Do I still do that, or did you edit it out because I don't need to? Also, the only error I have is that there is no HDAEnabler driver - Is that going to be a problem for this build?

*Edit: Yup, the HDAEnabler driver is a problem
*10/22/2014 Ugh! I kept posting a file by accident! Admins please delete the file if you see this. (3rd copy of file posted)

OK - I did it and it pretty much seemed too easy to be true, considering how much work Hackintoshes usually are...

To go from this build to Yosemite:
1) Make sure you are running 10.9.5 Mavericks
2) Make a UniBeast drive (as of post date, latest is 5.0.1) for Yosemite
3) I had to boot with -x to get to the installer, try without and, on failure, with
3) Follow this guide and for step 8 ("Run MultiBeast 7 and select the following options, and any system-specific Audio and Network drivers.") use the attached file for MultiBeast
4) Download MultiBeast 7.0
5) Open the attached .mb file with MultiBeast 7
6) Admire your awesome Hack Pro and how you have outsmarted paying thousands of dollars to Apple

*Edit: I found the problem. Of course it was too easy. My sound is not working... Any ideas?
*10/21/2014: Just my system acting up - Ignore line directly above

Have fun,
