Not sure then why ethernet is not being detected.. also why i have to switch HDMI to get rid of the grainy screen.. and then there is the issue of ethernet (when it works) not waking up from sleep and dual boot not detecting windows.. wow..:banghead:

HDMI issue is not one I have heard of before at all on installs where the instructions - either here or on the WOnkeyDOnkey Chimera build - have been followed. Assuming the instructions are being followed (and I guess you are VERY familiar with them now!) then the conclusion must be it is either your cable or your TV which is unusual. Maybe try a MiniDP to HDMI cable adapter.

The Ethernet issue is well documented and it was pretty clear that the drivers available would need to be experimented with for you to try to find what works best for you (in the end, do you need to sleep such a low power build if ethernet access is more important for you?). I am sorry I cannot help you with this part as I do not use ethernet or have a home LAN network. It is regrettable that after testing it seems we are not at a 100% solution there.

The dual boot Windows issue is surely solvable…..

You may not think it, but most of us do hang out on these forums to help others. Remember though we are all still just enthusiasts and are not paid to do this. We may try to be a "Genius" bar but sometimes we fall short of having all the answers.

I know it can be frustrating, and I do not know why this is proving so frustrating for your set of circumstances. In the end, we expect that a hackintosh will need to have more time spent on it than a real Mac and that if you want everything to work first time then buying a real Mac is maybe what you should consider.

From what I read, the rumour mills seem to think that the all new Mac Minis are due in November [though I have seen rumours before!!] and I for one am going to be very interested to see what is released and I may well buy one if it looks right.

Lol.. not blaming ur guide or anything.. just my luck ( and therefore :banghead:) :p .. I have built hackintoshes before and things have definitely improved since I have played with them..

Just my sheer dumb luck that i am having such issues

1) HDMI - agreed.. can be the TV or mihdmi adaptor I am using

2) Ethernet - It's not even detecting now the kext which was working before.. Good if it sleeps for even more low power consumption.. If everything works perfectly I might even then buy a wifi chip to solve this issue

3) Dual Boot - God Damn it.. just work.. reading all the guides I just can't see what I am doing wrong..

I have solved issues previously by simply switching USB's and has worked.. sometimes things just don't work.. and have wierd solutions when they do..

Initial setup was working much better and now just keeps getting worse..

Maybe I should "Keep Calm and Keep Trying".. In the end, I will either give up and live with Windows.. or get the damn thing working with some luck and loads of help :)

Will give WonkeyDonkey's guide a try (not the guide at fault but maybe for some reason Clover is not working well with me) and then will try this again.. will keep trying till I will say - Can't be stuffed..

Just feel so sorry it has not worked out. Also I feel the Clover install should really work out easier than the Chimera version as so much more patching is done automatically…..

Anyway, hang in there. Maybe 10.10 will be easier for you when it comes along!

FINALLY!!! Had some success..

1) HDMI - I can live with that atm.. but not happening often.. rare .. might try a different adapter / mini dp port if issue gets painfull

2) Ethernet on wake.. FINALLY its working for me it seems... this one seems to do the trick AppleIntelE1000e.kext v2.4.14 :headbang:.. It is detecting ethernet.. and waking after a minute of sleep.. havent tried longer yet..

3) Dual Boot.. Will tackle this baby next..

FINALLY !

I received my NUC ... and I performed the install according to the guide : everything is working except BT !

Thanks a lot ! ;)

The longest issue was the creation os the installer with unibeast which took at least 2 hours ... (I wasn't patient enough ...)

Ethernet is working, still it's en(2) and wifi is en(0), I have read something about that (icloud issue I guess) I think I have to switch that ... I don't know how for the time being ...

BT is the major setback : not working at all ! Wifi is OK (even AC/5ghz, handoff ...). The seller asked me is the MiniPCIe slot is USB connected ... I think so according to the spec on the net ... I have nothing on DPCImanager , nothing in "lspci -v" in linux ...

Does anyone managed to make BCM94352combo work on 10.X ? or any other combo card ? or ANY idea ?

for information I bought this card Lite-On WCBN606BH (Lenovo FRU 03T7135), I use SSDT injection for wifi and I tried toleda's and EMlyDinEsH's kext for BT ...

BT is by USB connection on the Mini-PCIe card so you should be able to get it working, and I know it can work with OS X. I have read about some people having problems with that card though so fingers crossed. My combo card works well, but of course it is BT 3.0 and not 4.0 so is a bit old.

As I am sure you'll read, the en0 issue is generally resolved by deleting all network adapters from system preferences/network and also deleting the network interfaces.plist from /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration. Then restart and add your networks back in to System Preferences (ethernet then wifi).

@its, thanks for resolving my ethernet issues. Changing AppleIntelE1000e.kext from v3.1.0 in the Essentials package to v2.4.14 from MultiBeast 6.5 worked a treat. Now ethernet works after waking from sleep.

@Minihack, thanks for the great guide - I absolutely love my Nucintosh and its fusion drive.

Thanks - i'll update the ethernet kext in the pack to be the one that you found works best....

DONE

Just a little feedback of what I got and what I did :

- Grainy Screen : I've got that one too ! but I only have to wait a few seconds and it become a standard grey screen ... and later on ... a normal screen. For information I'm using a miniHDMI/HDMI cable.

- Ethernet : everything is fine with old version (of new version with TSO set to false) even after sleep

- en(0)/en(1) issue : removing connexions and plist did the trick

- Triple boot : works with installation order OSX/Linux/Windows. I had to do this after windows installation
Boot from the OS X Clover usb again. (If you cant boot from usb and it goes to windows automaticly, just reset youre pc, as soon as it shows bios loading, reset it again, and then select usb as boot device)
Mount the main EFI with Clover configurator;
Open the main EFI file drive on the desktop, browse to EFI/Clover and copy CLOVERX64.efi to /EFI/Mircosoft/Boot.
In EFI/Microsoft/Boot rename the file bootmgrfw.efi to bootmgfw-orig.efi
In EFI/Microsoft/Boot rename the file CLOVERX64.EFI to bootmgfw.efi
Reboot without the Clover USB
Source

-Bluetooth: I think there is firmware/hardware issue with my card. No BT in OSX (message "APT: BT COEXIST OFF" on boot),nothing in linux, nothing in Win8.1 ...
