I've done it using a friend's Windows laptop. Updated BIOS and re-patched DSDT.
BTW, I can't find a guide to do it on OS X.

That's because it is not possible. The tools HP provides are Windows specific.

No problem updating my ProBook 4540s.

There are changes to the native DSDT in this version (from F.43), so be sure to re-patch DSDT.

To re-patch is necessary to press F4 at clover screen?

Wow, I didn't expect my 6460B to get any new BIOS updates, but looks like HP has a really good support for their products.
