4530 trackpad stopped working after 10.9.4 update

Hi, I have just updated from 10.9.3 to 10.9.4, followed the correct method from the guides, but now cant get my trackpad working, keyboard is fine, but no trackpad, I currently am having to use a USB mouse. Anyone have any idea why?

Repair permissions & rebuild cache. Do EC reset.

Mines stopped working correctly today, and is very erratic. Ive done the disk repair, but not sure how to do the rest. Are you able to help? Thanks

Repair permissions (Disk Utility). Rebuild Caches (DPCIManager).

EC reset: Shutdown, remove/disconnect *all* power sources, hold power button 30 sec, put everything back & restart.
