nothing changed on the network side ?

I am not using the Ethernet port on the board, I have a wireless card installed and use that. But I'm confident that everything works just fine. If I ever have any issues to report I will comment them on Post #1 in the updates section at the bottom. Please check there first to see if I reported/corrected any issues...

A couple of questions regarding your build:

In DPCI Manager it shows your builtin graphics as Iris Pro yet you are using a 4770K CPU. Did you edit the kext or something ? As far as I know Iris Pro doesn't exist in a retail CPU, and certainly not in the 4770K.

Since updating to 10.9.2 have you seen any crashes or freezes ?

Thanks.

Hey WonkeyDonkey...I have not experienced any issues, no crashed or freezes with 10.9.2/

Yes it shows as Iris Pro I believe since I ran the patch to enable native HDMI Audio. But you are correct, that I don't even use it. I have a dedicated GPU...

Thanks, and yes I did realise that. The Iris Pro just caught my eye, never seen that in a hack before :)

wait… so if i upgrade to F7 bios with new DSDT, and 10.9.2 what happens if you i'm correctly running INTEL HD4600 integrated card with F6 bios and 10.9.1 ?
it will be seen as iris pro ??

lexone, what's your Cinebench 15 opengl score in Windows? Mine is 100 fps in windows and 74 in OS X.

Altivec, you are spamming too often on this thread asking random questions instead of trying out what I have already advised and it seems like by doing so you keep getting more and more confused.

If you use the patches that I outlined, whch I got from Toledas guides, they patch your Audio and graphics kexts to support onboard HDMI audio. In doing so, the patch makes the IGFX in Mac OS be labeled as "Iris Pro" in DPCIManager, which is not natively in our system, instead of showing it as HD4600. This is fine and your Video will still work. This has nothing to do with upgrading from 10.9.1 to 10.9.2 nor anything to do with F6 or F7 BIOS.

So do what I have already outlined and explained to you.
  • Upgrade to F7 BIOS so that you can use my DSDT, or create your own.
  • Upgrade from 10.9.1 to 10.9.2
  • Before running MultiBeast....execute the patch commands to modify the kexts to provide onboard HDMI Audio functionality...then reboot
  • After reboot, run MultiBeast and install all the neccessary drivers, including Audio ALC892 w/DSDT and the actual DSDT file.
  • Repair permissions and rebuild kext cache
  • Reboot

You should be up and running with full HDMI Audio & Video working from the onboard ports. Hope this helps buddy!

Isn't doing that defeating the whole purpose to the security features to not allow foreign apps to self run? Why not just right click the app and say open, does same thing and is saved for that app.
