Guide to Installing Mavericks on HP Probook

I'm getting a appleintel kernel panic. Any ideas? Even after the install of the probook installer.


I did an upgrade from 10.8 by the way.

Thanks for your answer. Let me ask you again. I have two partitions in my HD, one for ML and the other is for windows. The reason to do the clean installation is that I need to enlarge the windows partition. I have read your explanations about doing this but I think it would be better to reformat the whole thing. So the question should I follow your website. I do no recall the link to get there. Thanks again for all your hard work

Dual booting Windows with SL/Lion/ML/Mavericks are all the same. The link to my blog is in my signature.
 
Hi Guys

I'm having a hard time deciphering the following in step 4a of the guide

ie. you must copy a "mini SSDT" to the Unibeast flash drive as /Extra/ssdt.aml. So, copy the Mini-SSDT-DualLink.aml from your Downloads to the clipboard,

I'm on a 4530s with a 1080p display

Can anyone please shine some light on this process for me please?????

What part don't you understand?

So, copy the Mini-SSDT-DualLink.aml from your Downloads to the clipboard, navigate to the Unibeast drive's /Extra folder, and paste it. Then rename it to ssdt.aml.
