How did you install? What trackpad driver are you using?

If you follow the 'sticky guide', you have my driver which supports 3-finger gestures for swipe up/down/left/right.

You have to configure them in SysPrefs -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts...

And yes, the PS2-based hardware for most PC laptop trackpads are nowhere as good as the USB multitouch trackpads in Apple's product. I guess that's why the MacBook[Air/Pro] cost the big $$$.

I'm not sure of what you are saying.

These are the gestures that are implemented:
- three finger up-down-right-left
- two finger scrolling, with momentum
- single finger tap to click
- two finger tap to right click
- three finger tap to middle click
- simultaneous press of left+right button for middle button
- single finger double tap+hold for drag

No other gestures are implemented currently.
