Did you ever manage to sort out what happened? I have the same board and cpu, but I'm using a GTX 650. Not sure if I should take the leap or stay safe.

Just sorted it. I had to re-select the system definition in Multibeast to mini 5.1 Then all was good. I got in via -x safemode. I took the long route round finding out though. ....I had a back up so decided to create a new unibeast usb with ML 10.3 and try from scratch. During the instal OSX asks whether you want to copy over settings / files etc from another mac / disk. I copied / imported all the settings and files etc over from the backup. I still had the same problem until I set system definition in multibeast to mini 5.1. Obviously I needed the original multibeast settings for the mobo which I always got from here http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...-uefi-bios-all-working-dsdt-not-required.html Copying settings over was a total lifesaver and took all the hassle out of a re-instal. I recommend it. Hope that makes sense.

Installed the 10.8.3 update per the instructions detailed here, ran MB to repair audio and left everything else alone, repaired permissions in Disk Utility, and now everything's working perfectly.

The update fixed the Apple Magic Trackpad connectivity issue, which is just awesome.

Gigabyte X58-UD7 MB, GTX260, 2.97 GHz Core i7.

Smooooooooooth update.

samsung ssd 830.
ML 10.8.2.
two monitors, one connected to HD4000 and one to gt640

i applied the nvidia cuda update, and then applied 10.8.3 combo update.

fonts look really bad on both monitors. no anti aliasing seems to be happening. a few other people appear to have reported similar problems, but there doesn't seem to be a fix or workaround so far.

any suggestions?

10.8.3 Update worked fine, had to set audio again and worked fine after but now will not boot. I'm installing as I type ML on a partition on the hard drive to see if I can boot from there. Any help would be great.
Thanks.

That's what I checked to start; I have two SSDs and the they both say NO. Corsair brand; one connected to my Hack and one connected to my WIN8. I dual boot. Any other ideas?

Chuck666,

Use Chameleon SSD Optimizer not MulitiBeast's Trim! It's a little difficult to find as the developer's site has been hammered and crashed. Anyway I used the Softpedia Secure Download to get the app. http://mac.softpedia.com/progDownload/Chameleon-SSD-Optimizer-Download-120302.html
