i posted my question here http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/90858-hd-4000-not-working.html before i find out this thred.

i just finish my hackintosh build, but i have 2 problems dual boot is not working im using 2 hard drives, when i installed the bootloader from multibeast if i remove the unibeast usb i get some error when i boot in mac mountain lion.
the other issue i have is that HD 4000 is not working in my hackintosh, when i run multibeast to choose 1080p i get an error,im connecting my monitor with a dvi to vga adapter,my motherboard is Gigabyte GA-H77N-WIFI.

Everything on my CustoMac mini 2012 w/ 10.8.2 works great except HD4000. The only way to boot is using GraphicsEnabler=No, otherwise I get no signal to my monitor after the apple logo. I am using the MultiBeast 5.2.1 and Chimera 2.0.1; my monitor is connected via DVI. I've tried EFI-String Injection from this thread, but became frustrated after trying all of the platform-ids which should've worked for my computer with no new results. Also feeling like that was a dead end because the latest version of Chimera and Chameleon should support HD4000, thus the thread being closed.

I'm sorry if this is annoyingly ignorant, but what should I do to simple enable HD4000 on my simple machine? I've tried searching around for HD4000 and H77N on the forum but there aren't any posts which seem to address my hardware situation. Any direction which might help me would be hugely appreciated.

Look at this thread, the same hardware: http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-builds/90031-jmpas-mini-build-i3-3225-h77n-wifi-hd4000.html

Here's another thread, only difference is the CPU and more memory. He has DVI working: http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-builds/81846-neveragain-h77n-wifi-i5-3475s-hd-4000-16gb.html

Did you check Customization/Boot Options/1080p Display in MultiBeast?

I've already looked at both those threads and as far as I can tell I'm doing everything the same as them. I had clicked 1080p Display when running MultiBeast, then I later edited the org.chameleon.boot.plist file so to match my monitor's optimum resolution.

Here is the chameleon boot file as it is; if I change GraphicsEnabler to Yes, I get a black screen after the apple boot screen:
<dict>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>darkwake=0</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>"1680x1050x32"</string>

</dict>

I don't know if it matters, but you don't have to use quotes, so <string>"1680x1050x32"</string> should be <string>1680x1050x32</string>.

So I reset by BIOS to factory defaults by shorting the cmos on the motherboard to fix an issue with the amount of time it took to load OS X, and I boot up with GraphicsEnabler=Yes just to see if the graphics acceleration would work. The screen went black like it normally did, but when I pressed the power button to the computer off, the screen came up and HD 4000 was enabled! After couple of minutes I moved my computer (while it was on, stupidly) to attach the wifi antennas, and the computer screen went blank again. When I tried turning it back on the screen was flickering black at the apple boot logo and eventually went to no signal. Could I have a hardware problem?

I can't say for sure, but it looks like a cable problem. I would check the connections on both sides of the DVI-cable. If that doesn't help, try another cable if you have one.

There was a problem with the cable, which I replaced. Now I have the original problem with the black screen after the Apple logo when GraphicsEnabler=Yes.

Also a number of errors flash on the screen quickly before the apple loading screen. There are different errors every time, and they go by very quickly so it's hard to write them down. Here are a few I have been able to catch:

"
Unable to find handle key Current-Network
Unable to find handle key preferred-count
Unable to find handle key MLB
Unable to find handle key Rom
Unable to find handle key SystemAudioVolume
"

Not sure what these mean.

If this is the wrong thread to post this in, please direct me to the correct one.

I keep getting a HDCP error when trying to play a digital copy downloaded from iTunes. I know my monitor and cable are HDCP compliant. My monitor is an Asus PA248Q. I utilize HD4000 graphics on my i5 3570K processor. My motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V Pro/Thunderbolt, I'm assuming that it's DVI-D port is HDCP compliant?

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!
