ok. there's nothing about audio in verbose boot. Absolutely nothing. There used be an error.. i can't remember something like "0==insertion failed" in earlier version. (10.7.4) I dont't remember. but it would still work then. If I had something plugged in the audio jack during boot then error wont appear in verbose and nothing would work no output in any output device not even built in speaker when jack is removed. So i would usually not plugin any audio jack during boot. However, if i had put in the audio jack then i had sleep and wakeup for audio to work. That all was with prior version of OS X. I got nothing about ML.

About EDID: attached screenshots.
Works good. LED now displayed .

PS:
Exactly when does kernel source is gonna release? any approximations?

Ok for EDID!:headbang:

AppleHDA does nothing if as you say, then maybe I replaced the codec wrong inside the binary file...........
.... perhaps this is resolved well:)

for kernel source, usually 10/15 days

Micky! another good news... iCloud works.....

PS: check my previous post too on previous page.
:headbang:for iCloud

and for USB 3.0, I certainly understand the problem!!
now see if I can solve!! (no hurry ... miss my laptop, but i have various ioreg)

Now that's a good news..... You're awesome. keep it up...

PS:
The unlocked bios that we have, do have the option of disabling the integrated graphics. Or initialize PEG first. I did that and no semi bricks occur. But got no display. CapsLock led was fine. I didn't check with the external display. Got any ideas about that?

No but I remember, you asked me how incremetare battery life:

I'm sure you can turn off discrete videocard in the bios F1a unlocked, without semi-brick!!!!!

try
I thought about how to do it in Linux, to turn off HD3000 in dsdt. This is known as "ACPI CALLS" (google it)
..... but I can't try if my Lappy is not here tomorrow!!! HP closes for holidays:evil:

I feel bad for ya...

You can send me your dsdt.. I can test.

Furthur, I think the display ports (built-in, vga, hdmi) are all connected to Integrated graphics only. The switchable graphics drives changes the controller from integrated to discrete and then back. Let me know if I'm wrong..

I have no dsdt different to do you try at time!

You're right, it's the graphics card driver that exchanges:
does not work like real Macs ... they use chips gMux

.......................Some problems on the new AppleHDA .... I have to study better

well, then i guess switchable graphics will never work on mac unless its the only card or only card enabled in the system.
I wonder if its possible in a subsequent bios version where the output display ports including the built-in in display may be channelized directly to discrete card w/o driver. Just directly through bios.

Anything about USB 3.0????

Here we go... lapic fix of ML kernel 12.0
http://www.osx86.net/view/3011-mach_kernel_lapic_cpus=1_fix_for_ml.html

PS:
Did you get your laptop or the holidays are started already?

UPDATE: ML kernel lapic fix doesn't works. I tried and gave me the kernel panic both of them

My Lappy is not here:thumbdown:, thanks for the link to the kernel:thumbup:!

USB 3.0 have a problem with IRQ conflict between HPET and RP04 (USB 3,0 device in dsdt), we need to do tests to dsdt but with what I feel?Surely serve dozens of tests

ok.. but the kernel is not working as it should... still gets the lapic_native kernel panic.

The time difference b/w you and me is merely 3 hours and 30 minutes. We can chat over social networking or gmail or anywhere else as you please or if you please. i m everywhere. If you want me to test the dsdt i can test instantly for two days i.e. until i get back to my college.. and i got both usb 2.0 and 3.0 devices to test. Reply soon I m here for only 2 days...
