Asus Z690 ProArt Creator WiFi (Thunderbolt 4) + i7-12700K + AMD RX 6800 XT

macOS Sonoma public beta is now available. Please note that Broadcom WiFi does not work in Sonoma. Broadcom Bluetooth continues to work properly. We can use Intel WiFi with the latest preview of AirportItlwm from here:

is it correct that with Intel WIFI we will lose: AirPlay, ApplePay, Continuity, HandOff and AirDrop?

Yes we will lose all of those except Handoff.

Thanks CaseySJ. Yes, I remember that at some point I had it working as well but I think it broke, maybe without installing any update? Cannot remember.

...is it broken on 13.4 for others as well?
Hear 13.4.1 sleep broken on AQ113C ! To my memory it was working with 13.3 ...

it is a shame....
More than a shame... it's not an option for me... I rely upon those services practically on daily basis!

I guess Apple is telling us something... maybe Ventura is really the last stop of this super exciting path ...

main reason I will be staying on Ventura on my hacks :)

Hello @mattbatt

There are several posts in this thread from happy owners of Z790 ProArt. So that is a viable option. We have to be careful about BIOS version and BIOS parameters (Above 4G Decoding for instance). If you search this thread for Z790 you should find all the relevant posts. Lots of good information there.
Thank you @CaseySJ! I have been researching some Z790 boards - I'll search more. Also, I found a thread you linked to once, but cannot find it again, concerning Davinci Desktop Video and modern drivers not working with hackintosh. If you can remember, can you point me to that thread? I've been searching...

I don’t seem to recall that… I have installed and used DaVinci Resolve on a couple of my Hackintoshes without any problem that I could find.

If anyone is using Resolve on their Hackintosh, please let us know how it’s working…

I found your thread @CaseySJ : https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...700k-amd-rx-580.316533/page-3515#post-2309665
Davinci works fine, it's desktop video with drivers beyond 12.1 that according to that thread last year, won't work on hackintoshes. I have a TV as a 10 bit video monitor so I need this. I think this one thing is my hesitation to upgrade my hack to Ventura or build another hack. Unless I can know that the driver will work. Otherwise, I'm out my TV monitor

Yes, even if at at first it didn't work on my system.
I am thinking to go back to 13.3.1 and stick there, especially while there is not solution for Broadcom under Sonoma.
Thank you
