Recycled Thin Mini ITX [NAKED] Prime H310T R2.0 — i5-9600K — RX560/UHD630

@Fellkin

Thanks for sharing your device properties, I now have a working HDMI port too!. I was also happy to see the RX 560 (Baffin) support Metal 3.

Now attempting to use my Raspberry Pi for Time Machine backups over the air, but so far not much joy. Using the below links and those contained within are slow progress, but I like the fact that the time capsule icon shows in Finder.

Holy cow!, it works!. After spending most of the weekend failing, I finally got it working, I can backup my build over the air to the Raspberry Pi Time Machine. The easiest and most accurate guide I found to follow is linked below.

It's probably easier to set up the Pi as a NAS using OpenMediaVault (much less terminal work) and just connect to the NAS and set up Time Machine from your hack.

OpenMediaVault can even run as a Docker container on a Pi. The advantage of this would be auto updates and easier management of OpenMediaVault via the Docker dashboard.

Also, the NVMe SSD is probably wasted due to USB 3 and 1GBase-T bottlenecks. Personally, I'd just use an old 2.5" HDD.

I was having problems with OpenMediaVault, I kept getting a failure on boot, though I will have another attempt at it but from my M1 Air. I didn't mind the terminal work, I learnt a lot in the process, connecting remotely via ssh, figuring out nano etc. It is a waste using the M.2 SSD for sure, I may purchase a large capacity HDD instead.

I played with OpenMediaVault briefly and I had it up and running within an hour. It was very easy and had a pretty web based UI.

Stick to 2.5" HDD if you don't want another power brick.

Hmm... pretty sure I didn't need this patch before!. Anyhoo I salvaged a speaker from my Dell 7040 and attached it to the 310T motherboard. After removing the device property I didn't have any sound output, apart from the Apple TV. Exported from Hackintool and added it to my EFI.

@pastrychef I finally got OpenMediaVault working, seems it prefers a wired connection to set up. Then you can add the WiFi info after that. A Seagate 500GB 2.5” hdd is arriving tomorrow for my NAS/TimeMachine/Pi.

Successfully updated OpenCore to 0.9.2 through my favorite and quite possibly the easiest way, HackinDROM right click!. Lilu, RestrictEvents and AppleALC have also been updated to the latest release.

Hello and sure. I just used it to do a fresh install of Ventura 13.3 onto 250GB Samsung 850 EVO. I removed the Intel WiFi/BT stuff so it's a slender 11MB, I'm switching things up by using the M.2 M Key for a BCM43602. But I'm waiting for another adapter from China because it has the USB power cable for BT. Then I can remove the Intel card and use the M.2 E Key for the RX 560!, exciting!. EFI attached with SMBIOS info removed.

Hello @craighazan

I have config almost like yours :

Asus Prime H310M-D R2.0
CPU i5-9600K @ 3.70 GHz
Graphics UHD 630

i downloaded your EFI, but can't boot it : OC failed.
