BCM94360NG is a great card that requires no extra kexts to get working

Never used that wifi card. Not sure if your laptop has a Wifi/BT whitelist or not. You can always use a USB based ethernet adapter. They don't cost much. Use mine on laptops quite often. Works oob.

most Asus laptops do not have a whitelist which is good

I tried again later. When the installation progress bar reaches about 75%, there will be "An error occurred validating the installer data. The download is either damaged or incomplete.", I don't know how to solve it.

why not use the config.plist that works instead of using a different one from the web?

you will have to spoof a kabylake setup, smbios and platform id, that should be all you need to do
